Lifelong trainer and leader; former business instructor at Southern New Hampshire University. Parent of three children who have all had their times of learning frustration and needed my help. So, why do you want me for a tutor? Because I can take complicated concepts and break them down so that (almost!) anyone can understand. Clear explanations, pictures and other media, games, humor. Learning should not be stressful, even when you have the pressure of an upcoming test. I have worked with military and civilian learners, as well as children. It is important to me to listen and respect you as a person, as well as respecting your learning style. No weird head games or agendas. My students have always appreciated that I teach them so that they can meet their goals as fast as possible. I work well virtually and can travel anywhere in New Hampshire and Maine. I can teach just about any elementary or high school subject, as well as college English and business courses. If you're a business student, I will teach you real-world skills that will help you be successful in the marketplace. I have worked for companies and owned my own businesses.
